2024 Sister City Trip--Sugoi!

We returned last Monday from Toride City with adult and student delegates and it was indeed a wonderful experience for all involved. The itinerary included visits to Toride City, Tsukuba City, and Tokyo, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in the rich culture and vibrant atmosphere of Japan. Highlights of the trip included cultural, culinary, and family experiences in Toride City, the wonders of JAXA (Japan’s NASA), exploring iconic landmarks such as Sky Tree, soaking in the traditional charm and souvenirs of Asakusa, and indulging in the shopping paradise of Ginza. It was a memorable journey that deepened cultural understanding and fostered meaningful connections between Yuba City and its sister cities. We’re looking at October 29-November 4 to host in Yuba City and then February 2025 for our next adventure in Japan.
