Sister City 2020 & 2021
Konnichiwa friends and supporters of the Yuba City Sister City Association. We hope you are well during this unusual time in the world. In light of the human and financial crises, the Toride City Mayor, Shingo Fujii, has made the difficult decision to not participate in the Yuba City homestay program in October, 2020, and will not host Yuba City in February, 2021. There is simply too much uncertainty and schools are terribly behind in both of our cities. We appreciate your ongoing support and will listen for your ideas for a virtual experience with Toride and look forward to your participation in-person when the program ramps up, again.
